We arrived at the Cruise Terminal in San Pedro, California and boarded the Diamond Princess cruise Ship. Built in 2004 at the Mitsubishi ship yards in Japan, this is the sister ship to the Saphire Princess. Actually, this ship was originally going to be named the Saphire Princess but a fire onboard the original Diamond Princess during construction forced this ship to be completed first and to recieve the name of Diamond Princess. These two ships have what some consider to be the most beautiful shilouetes of any ship currently sailing the 7 seas! They are beautiful inside and out!
