Chan May (Vietnam) - 11th March 2008. We decided to cancel the trip we had booked for this port as there was a 2 hour journey to the Imperial Hue which would have been our destination. Instead we had an easy day and took the complimentary shuttle bus to a beach resort about 20 minutes away and just wandered around had some local beer and lunch in the restaurant on the beach which was part of the holiday complex. The journey to the resort was a bit bumpy, roads were dreadful bus was not much better. Nothing else to see as we were miles away from civilisation so we headed back to the ship and spent the rest of the day around the pool.
