Today was by far the best day I've had here ya'll... I CLIMBED MT. VESUVIUS!!!!! Me, Yes... I did that *King Julian voice*, It was so great. The field trip was just to make if to the observation deck, but there was an optional trip that took you 4,202 ft to the highest point of the Volcano and around the entire rim. When they told us about it I was like 'I really want to do it!', but when I got to the observation deck I got really scared and my roomie back out... so I said 'No' when they asked me again. Then at the last second I decided to go ahead and go..... And I'm so happy I did!!!! It was really rough going and I though that I was going to turn back a couple of times, but when I made it to the top I was so proud of myself!!! I felt like I could see the whole world from up there, I'm so glad I didn't let my fear get the best of me!!!! On the way down I got some amazing shots of Naples (see below), this trip is turning out to be the best experience of my life!!!! Gotta go, they are taking us out for real Italian Pizza tonight. Then they have a full day of class planned for tomorrow.... *Mere makes a sound of disgust and disbelief* Between the climb, the pizza, and maybe some wine :) ....

Hey Girl, you be safe. Up there climbing mountains and all. Keep the beautiful pix comin'. You actually might get me to go on a trip. I'll just have to make sure I bring my Anti-Revolucion creme, that and a complete wardrobe like the natives. Cuz you know I will turn on my Italiano roots in a heartbeat. Just let me hear anything close to sounding like REVOLUCION! And I am swapping citizenship on command. Holla got go freshen up on my I-talyen.
