We're getting set up at Phoenix International Raceway for our favorite long weekend of the year! Friends Alice and Harold came in with their fifth wheel yesterday, and Gary and Kathy and Charlie and Jenny will arrive tonight in their rigs. Tomorrow, Jess and Tom (daughter and son-in-law from Colorado) will arrive to party with us!
It's hot here in the Phoenix area, has been breaking records in the 90's, while we're hearing of snow flurries in much of the rest of the country. We're looking forward to a slight reduction in high temps over the next few days, when it's only supposed to be in the 80's!
Probably won't write too much over the next few days - just wanted to get the map pin in place. Next Monday, after putting Jess and Tom on a plane back to Colorado, we'll head over to Palm Springs, and we'll stay in California untli the beginning of the new year.
