We arrived at the home of our old Cargill friends, Charlie and Beth, in Merlin, Oregon this afternoon. They're the first people I ever knew who went full time in a motorhome - back in 1986! They've since settled back into this beautiful "stick and brick" home near the tiny town of Merlin, right on the Rogue River. They have wonderful parking and hookups for us next to their house, and tomorrow they're going to take us on a road trip along the Rogue river and up to Crater Lake National Park.
The drive up here was beautiful - along the Smith River and through beautiful redwood forests.
