After a week of chilly nights and cool days and continuing to fight colds, we've left Mountain Lakes, and are enroute to Pahrump Nevada, where the RV Park we're staying at is also a winery! http://www.westernhorizonresorts.com/whr/resort_directory/re sort_info_pages/nevada/

We are currently on Highway 127, just north of Baker, California. The other name for this road is Death Valley Highway, because we are going along the edge of the infamous Death Valley desert. Once we've stopped, I'll upload a picture I just took - something you certainly don't expect to see in this normally deadly-hot desert - a pure white, snow-capped mountain! This whole part of the country has been abnormally cold, and after checking the weather in Pahrump, I'm afraid we're not in for any improvement! It looks like the day-time temps are barely above 40 degrees, and at night, it's getting down to 21 degrees (and for our Canadian family and friends - yes that's FAHRENHEIT!)
Going to sign off for now to focus on the moonscape-like landscape, and because we might lose our signal here soon.
