Where I stayed
Enchanted Trails RV Park
About a four and a half hour drive today, plus the loss of one hour due to time zone change, and we pulled into Enchanted Trails Rv Park and Trading Post. This was actually a trading post along route 66 built back in the forties, and only became an Rv Park much later. What makes it unique is that it offers antique trailers as rental units - you'll see the picture below of a couple of them.
We got set up and settled in, and went out to dinner at El Pinto - a New Mexican restaurant we had been to several years ago with my Incentive association when they were having their annual meeting here. I think we both remembered it for the good times with good friends more than for the food, as it was all very hot, and there wasn't really anything I could eat tonight. Disappointing, all around.
I think we'll go to Petroglyphs National Monument tomorrow for a while, and we MIGHT take the tram to the top of Sandia Peak.
