We're here in the Finger Lakes Region for a couple of days, mainly to catch up with old friend Larry Barnes, and to catch up in general!  Finally having full hookups after a whole week working around low power, no new water, and no sewer was luxury in itself!  I got a couple loads of laundry done in our little Splendide all-in-one washer/dryer, and we had a great visit on Saturday with Larry & Barnes' family friend Lisa - folks we hadn't seen since a couple of years ago in Florida at Pat's Place.
Discovering another park that closes its swimming pool at 8 pm (MUCH too early, in my opinion, when it's light until after 9!), we decided that much of Sunday would be devoted to swimming, a promise we kept, and enjoyed!  Decided we felt like having Chinese food, and after a bit of a search on Yelp and Open Table, drove the 15 minutes to Seneca Falls, which ended up being a special road trip for me, when I realized that Seneca Falls is the home of the Women's Suffrage movement, and where the original Women's Rights Amendment was created.  The food at Happy Family Chinese Restaurant was superb, too, so a nice evening, all in all!
