Once again, I didn't get around to writing about an area until we had left it behind us! I started writing this on April 24th, while we were on our way to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. But we had a lot to do and tell you about while we were in the Charlotte, North Carolina area over the past week....
We arrived at one of our membership campgrounds in Salisbury, North Carolina the afternoon of Easter Sunday and got set up. Much of that week was spent visiting race shops in the area (the majority of the Nascar teams are based out of the Charlotte/Moorsville Area). We did meet some new friends, Mary Jane and Gordie, who are from Upstate New York, and they are also big race fans. We plan to meet up with them when we get to their area the end of May, probably to go to a dirt track race or two!
