And we begin!
I've checked in and am waiting for my first flight. I've never seen the airport so empty though I have to say. Even last year when I flew to Jo'Burg it wasn't this empty. (I have to admit though it was Sydney Airport which, even at the best of times, can be a bit hectic!) The Qantas Club has empty seats galore (nice) and multiple unused computers (nice again because I've NEVER been able to get one here on any previous Qantas Club waits)
I had a lovely lady at Check In who (fingers crossed there are no problems) checked in my bags weight and all so at the moment I'm feeling very much Christmas Spirited. (Added to by the fact I'm heading off on a very Aussie Christmas Day - sun shining, kids playing with their new toys in the street (a skateboard for one of them!), and I did have a few left over Clinkers because it actually is Christmas today (Christmas lunch being yesterday for me...) so it definately was Christmas. (You can't have Christmas without Clinkers!!)
Well,  plane watching and trapsing around airports with a bulky pillow will be my story for the next while so Merry Christmas everyone!

I left from Melbourne this time around - , It's really nice there and I would recommend it. If you want more information on it, try the forums (desitinations> Australia) and everyone there will help you out inc. myself :O) I'd have to say that the most beautiful spots are along the Great Ocean Road (just outside of Melbourne)
