Warm Spanish weather? I wish...! So technically it´s the Basque area, but a bit of sunshine would be nice... I like the idea of ´siesta´, from 1-4pm everyday but that can´t be good for productivity or the time-poor tourist...

2 days in San Sebastian - could be described as a sleepy little beach town, but I´m pretty sure the place would be hopping in summer. Had a couple of hours of sunshine in the morning which was amazingly warm and uplifting after the weather we´ve had. Apparently that´s the real San Sebastian, or so the pizza guy would have me believe.

Spent the first day exploring the city centre (after working out the whole siesta deal), which means shopping, eating and monument-viewing. Walked quite a bit too, from beach to harbour and back to beaches. Really liked walking through the old city streets, full of little bars with tapas style food and happy customers.

Pretty much did the same thing the next day, only with more beach and seaside involved. Wait and see my beach photos - I'm bringing a new beach fashion in - cardi and scarf. Looks great on the sand...!
