Headed for the museum of palaeontology in the afternoon. Superb!

We went for dinner in Montparnasse with Rebecca from class. French onion soup, a salmon quiche and green basil creme brûlée later and I was content to watch as the ladies stumbled their way rapidly to drunk. The first restaurant, where we had the soup and our mains, was themed as an old train cart and surprisingly managed to imbue a sense of class and quality into a fun and laid back theme. The second restaurant was an old favourite of Hemingway's, mentioned in his A Moveable Feast and offered a groovy bar which has kept a sense of its old fashioned 1920s charm and a delightful rarity in a sealed off no-smoking terrace where we were able to sit outdoors without choking on fumes.
I crawled into bed sometime around 1AM and dreamt of soon being able to seek the safety and warmth of your arms in our bed.
