During the first day out we went to the City Museum and the Spice Souk (market). This was a great first trip out as it gave us a flavor of the old part of town.
To get around we started by just taking a taxi to the museum. We then had to find a way across the Dubai creek and decided on the city boat service.. Basically a floating bus. It was good fun!
The next day we took a city tour using a bus service. This took us to all of the major beaches and the different sites. This included many many different malls, beaches and resorts. The highlights for this include the brand new Atlantis resort on the Plam island, the Mall of the Emirates with the indoor snow skiing!
