Today we thought we'd do some Durango wanderings and take a bus to the Villa del Oeste, which is the old Western film set!
We started the morning by going to the coffee shop next door to our hotel. Not only was the coffee pretty decent, but the guy who worked there was ridiculously helpful, and was like a tourist information service in himself! We get the impression that in recent years they have really been trying to tart up the city and get some more tourists in, as it didn't bear much resemblance to the city described in our (out of date) Lonely Planet! He got us some free tickets for the city bus tour and some leaflets about the Villa del Oeste etc.
