Merry Christmas everyone!!!!  A nice long sleep-in…ahhhhhhh…..a day with nothing to do….. well, sort of. We could finally get our snow pants, snow jackets, gloves, beanies, ear muffs, socks, and extra mittens on to go have our first real jump in the snow. The girls beat me out first, since I was sleeping, so I got out much later that morning….I love snow. Our Christmas morning was taken up with playing in the snow and eating yummy Christmas food, We also did some baking that morning.  We cooked Finnish gingerbread which turned out a lot like Mummu's delicious ginger bread  and  we cooked mini christmas pus (off Collin Buchanan) which are fruit cake (we used plum pudding because the shop that we shopped at didn't have ANY fruit cake ….?????….) and dark chocolate crushed up together and made into little balls, they are then dribbled with white chocolate and topped with a cherry, then came the fun part….Eating!!!. Our Mount Vesuvious (our washing pile!) was growing and there was a snow blizzard forming, so  Mum's morning was taken up by doing house duties, we helped a bit. :D

Our afternoon was full of fun, fun, fun. We ate a light lunch of bacon and eggs and decided to have more play in the snow. Play in the snow it was, there were snow fights….well it started out as a game of "catch the snow ball" but turned into a "bomb on Grace" as I walked out the bathroom door, the girls bombed thousands of  snowballs on me………. uugghh!.

We all took a walk down the road, all rugged up to go get a bunch of holly bushes to decorate the table, it was a nice walk. We saw more of the campground that we were staying at, Normandy Farms, Foxboro Massachusetts.  We ended the day with eating our Christmas dinner, RV style :) Turkey and ham with potato salad. Dad made his laminated sandwich, this time with layers of turkey, ham, cheese, herbs, potato salad, garlic, onion and so forth. "What about the presents!" you say, well the presents did come. One of the presents were toy Nerf guns that shot foam bullets (never seen them in OZ), and the boys loved them….so did we, the girls :D.

Dad had dressed up that night as Santa, a red jacket, with white cotton balls straight from the pill bottle as a beard, with spoons and pots on a string as bells, and a red blanket sack full of toys…… well he sort of looked like Santa, although he needs to work on his "ho,ho,ho, Merry Christmas!"……. it was mainly meant to be a surprise for the two little boys, although when Luke saw Dad he just said "hey Dad"….. hmmmm. It was a great Christmas and I think we enjoyed it HEAPS. :D
