First day in Minnesota, rise and shine because we have the whole day to have fun!
Everyone woke today early, including me-which is a change….. well, I sort of got woken up by my noisy sisters & cousins.  But I guess, it was the first day and everyone was excited, so today was an exception. We all went upstairs to a delicious breakfast of sausages and eggs…yum. Our hosts taught us a new grace to sing which is pretty fun one…. have to bring it back to Oz to teach everyone!

As our first day in Minnesota we decided to go sledding on a slippery slide sort of thing called a 'luge' that Uncle had built….. as well as that, he had built an ice-skating rink. Annika had built an igloo at the front of the house that we can all crawl through and climb on top of. While all us kids went outside to slide, Mama Bear, Papa Bear, and Uncle went to start cleaning up the RV so it was ready for storage…… at least that was the plan. Auntie (aka, Camp Organiser) was busy cleaning in the kitchen, cleaning around the house, and sorting out all the wet snow gear that was dumped everywhere. These adults are pretty amazing.

Now to talk about the fun part…. us kids. In the snow we all went, since we had been in the snow the night before and checked out the slide thing (I really have to get a name for the slide…..any suggestions?) we were all past the cautious part of "what will happen if I fall?….what about if it's too fast?" and like that, and so we all jumped into the fun and enjoyment of sliding down a big slippery hill. By the end of the day, we had just dumped everything inside….. cleaning will have to wait for tomorrow….

Also by the end of the day, Winnie still hadn't been cleaned fully, it's a big job cleaning dirty carpets & grubby seats……. and sorting all the junk that was bought into the RV and bringing in all the clothes and shoes….makes me tired just to think about it!   More cleaning of the RV will have to go on tomorrow, then we can banish Winnie to the climate control shed, finally. :)
