Wakie,Wakie, time to pull in the slideouts, don't you just hate it when someone pulls you out of bed, early in the morning, especially when you got to bed last night at midnight….. well, that's what happened to me this morning. Dad needed to get Winnie to the garage to have an oil and filter change, the garage was just across the car park so that was simple. So it was rise and shine early for the Johnson family to get Winnie to the garage. That means we have to get out of Winnie….where will we go????  Ok, while I was getting booted out of bed (my bed super hard to get out of, it's got a low roof and is roughly 1 m off the ground…..not good for tall people), the girls had already decided that we were heading to Target (why Target??) to get some jeans for Julia….. well it ended up a bit more than just jeans for Julia.

It was about midday before we got on the road, heading for  Everglades National Park, Florida. Along the way we stopped for lunch at Chipotles, a mexican grill. We all had burritos, and they were delicious, a nice toasty burrito with beans, chicken, lettuce, salsa, sour cream, tomatoes, cheese and I'm getting so hungry I can't think of what else they put in it…..I'm sure they put something else in it…..anyway,  I thought it was great, coming first on our fast-food survey, Although some of the girls don't agree, they think Carl's Jr comes first, and Chipotle comes second. :D

Are we there yet? Actually Dad thought it would be a 8 hour drive (from Miami to Flamingo) but was only a 3 hour drive (yes!!) so we ended up at Flamingo just as the sun was going down. In time to take some photos…….don't get too close to the water, else a croc might see you and mistake you for a snack….obviously Luke only hears "get close to the water" so makes a mad dash but doesn't make it, the banks are covered in wet mud, Luke slips over gets mud all over his new jeans and shoes... boys!. :D I've also noticed the weather here, much warmer, a lot like Noosa in the winter…..Dad's favourite, he's already wanting to go for a swim…..I wouldn't, crocs…..

Time to do a blitz! it's called "tidying up blitz".  We're tidying up the RV to put up Christmas decorations…  Julia's taking her usual job, sweeping the corridor, only this corridor is much smaller than ours back at home. I'm doing the bathroom, Anna's doing something…..not sure what she did, and Mum's doing the dishes!. We are all ready to put up the Christmas decorations!

Finally a early night for the Johnson family……yes!

so glad you liked Chipotle Grace, it is definitely my favorite fast food! Probably corn was also added and you have to have their Guacamole some time, it's yummy!! Hopefully you guys catch it again some time! Otherwise we'll plan a date to go there while you are here, there is one right next door to where I work.
