Off to Kennedy Space Centre we go!  Everyone was wide-eyed  as we entered enter into Kennedy Space Centre. At the entrance were rockets and other space stuff.  We got there in time for lunch, so the first thing we did was find somewhere to eat (as usual).  We found a small cafe with food. Nachos and Cheese was the closest thing to lunch. Yeah, a packet of corn chips and a small tub of fake cheese is Nachos….o well, it's food! :D

No time to see the visitor centre! it's off to our Kennedy Space Centre tour we go. We were taking the Historical tour that day, and would be taking the modern tour next Sunday. We were at the back of the line so, we got the back seats….. our tour guide started, and I have to say…. He wasn't very good. He sounded like a recorded message that you just turn off and on. I didn't really understand a word he said. I hope Mum + Dad got something out of it. The tour included, sitting in a bus listening to this radio (the guide), getting on and off the bus to see launch pads (which was cool), and seeing this museum, in which we had a different tour guide… for the minute and he was better, he talked about all these different dudes who invented this or launched that, it sounded like I was back in school! :D The tour was a bit disappointing…..and our photo. The workers take a picture of everyone before they go on the tour and you buy it afterwards. Our photo looked super light on the computer, but when they printed it out for us, well it was dark as. After the tour they dumped us all off at a big building with a real rocket on display and heaps of real stuff that astronauts used, plus a real moon rock. Plus, at the building we also saw a short movie of the launching of the rocket that went to the moon, which was pretty cool, the theatre where it was shown was also the control room of that rocket which was doubly cool. That was probably the highlight of the day. Hopefully, we will have a better tour at Kennedy Space Centre next Sunday.

After a full day at Kennedy Space Centre we drove down to Orlando from Jacksonville (about a hour drive) to the resort that my auntie's sister's, husband's, parents had given to us to stay in for the next three nights (thankyou sooooo much for this gift). The place was beautiful, and the apartment was the best, compared to the RV…. a nice comfy bed, and hot showers (YES!!!!!!) and everything. We all settled in for the night and had a early night, because in the morning, it's off to Disney World we go!!!
