So please do not base your travels to Sao Paulo on our experience.
Not really much to comment on here - sorry people of Sao Paulo - but we were whisked into the centre by our giant of a driver and then left very early in the morning. We did venture out in the rain to find a pizza restaurant (which was delicious and fun). The only thing that did stand out and something we had not seen for sometime was the people sleeping rough on the streets. It was similar to the centre of London with people rolled into cardboard and shopping trolleys beside them. They were everywhere not just on the outskirts of the City.
