It was week of the tourist in Cusco, which explained how we were greeted on arrival. We were all handed information, Peruvian bags which contained pens, magnets and a bookmark (my one had a silver foot pendent on it). Inside the terminal there were traditional dancers and more music - "Pan – Piped People), then transferred to our hotel which was in another “developing" area. As we were now over 10,000 feet we were advised to rest for the rest of the day and drink Coca tea, so we did.
The kids played in the garden and Edie washed the dog.
