So last night after I left I went to sleep for a while.  I woke up around 5 am, which is around the prayer call, and shut our bedroom window so that we could sleep better.  I had set my cell phone (old) alarm for 8 am, but it turns out that my cell charger only accepts 110 ac, and my charger wouldn't convert the voltage, so I'm pretty sure I blew it out.  Oh well!

So we got up around 9 am.  We promptly showered, and surprisingly had hot water, yay!  After our showers we went downstairs for breakfast, which consisted of some pita, apricot jam, and a hard boild egg.  My water had already been opened, so I didn't drink any. After breakfast, cory and I both felt pretty sick from the night before.  The taste that I recongized was that of mensfah, which was pretty terrible, haha!

After lunch and a bit more of Swing Kids on Dubai 1 we headed towards the bus station to catch the bus to the Dead Sea.  It took us nearly an hour, but we finally made it.  The bus cost us only 65 piastres/650 filles to get to the red sea.  From there we needed to take a private taxi for 4 JD to Amman Beach, which cost 12 JD to enter.  We ended up opting for the place 50m down that only cost 7 JD.  We caked ourselves in mud to heal our skin, and got some good pictures from it.  I hope to post them tonight. The water from the Dead Sea was very similar to baby oil and the mud was very good for the skin after baking in the sun for 20 - 30 minutes.  The overall experience was pretty good.

After we were done we took the same taxi back to the busses, but negotiated a rate of 3 JD.  When we arrived we had to wait about 5 minutes to leave to Amman.  We ended up in Amman about 30 minutes later, and walked 10 minutes to our hostel.  After this we went for some dinner at a fast food arabic place that we found the night before.  I had a mexican kebab, which was pretty good.  After we returned we talked with some other guest, and ended up going out with them.  There was one from USA and one from Sweden.  We went to a bar and had Amstels.  The american's friend joined us, and we had a couple of beers with him as well.  Around 1:15 we went back to the hostel, which leaves us where we are now.

Tomorrow we were thinking of going to Jerusalem, but the bridge goes back to Jordan only until 3 pm, so I think we will just do laundry and chill out here.  Will post more tomorrow!
