Today we are on the Moselle River. Very curvey and snake like. There is an amazing castle that overlooks the small village. We toured the both the exterior and interior and the each room was warm and inviting, contrary to most Castle experiences.
Our guide sounded like a combination of Phylis Diller and Vincent Price. She pronounced "painting" like ponting. We were easily entertained.
The weather has been brutally cold. We are having fantasies of the coats we left behind in our closets.
We wandered into a coffee house where you had to stoop down and go down several steps to a basement style set up. The place was full of locals who's new hobby is to stare at the American girls. We had fun.
Then Weinersnichzel at a local restaurant for authentic German food, only to find out that the Chef is Dominican and would we prefer Dominican food instead... We went German.
Our "dress up" night was this evening and the dessert was marched in to the dining room by Sasha playing When the Saints... on a small red trumpet. He is hawking his CD's... perhaps Sheila's Christmas present... hmmmm.
