We really loved our week in Coeur d'Alene, ID.  A great vacation destination with many things to do and see.  We laid a little more low than normal; however, we enjoyed the sunshine, dining and being outdoors in general.  Many folks from Alberta Canada got entertained by Lucy whether they like it or not…I read 3 books and Todd was on the phone/working a lot over the week.

August 3rd, we hit the road around noon and headed towards Wal-Mart in Missoula, MT.  Got in around 5PM and went across the street to Outback Steakhouse and proceeded to have the worst service and food ever.  We then went to Tamarack Brewing Company and enjoyed terrific brews and flat bread pizza.

Can't believe we stayed out until 10PM, but it does not stop there…As we were walking Maddie around the parking lot back at Wal-Mart, I decide to knock on the door of a neighboring motor coach.  I can't believe he let us in, gave us a tour, provided us with beer and swapped travel stories for over an hour.  VERY COOL Canadian!

The following morning, Todd biked Rattlesnake Mtn. and I got the shopping done, on the road to Three Forks, MT around noon.

The Lewis & Clark Cavern's campground is beautiful and reminds us both of Mesa Verde, CO.
Basically set in a valley with mountains surrounding the campground.  We enjoyed a terrific campfire, roasted weenies and hit on the hooka, while enjoying a near full moon and alternative music.  Got in a hike the following morning and then hit the road for Bozeman.

Bear Canyon Campground in Bozeman is tight and full of rigs.  Nice full-hook up location for the next few workdays.

The pool is smaller than the one we had in Naples, FL and if it is not enough that the entire campground has use of the pool, additionally, the locals can purchase day passes. Needless to say, it is filled with lots of children!  Oh well, we demolished the contents of the cooler and soaked up the rays regardless of the influx of little people…

The weather has remained beautiful throughout the week with a spattering of showers periodically.

We enjoyed Montana Ale House one evening, I got my hair done, Todd got in several bike rides and runs and we got caught up on some things we had put off.  All in all a very good week in beautiful Bozeman.

Leaving today for Yellowstone for the next couple of days…
