The Big 5!!!!

Yes, we saw them all.  And more!

To be fair, we didn't see a leopard in the wild.  They are near impossible to encounter as they are so spread out compared to most animals.  They're also extremely hard to spot in the wild.

This isn't a complete list of what we saw in the 4 short days we went on our safari at Kruger Park (and Balule Reserve, and Tsukudu Reserve):

Elephants  (one had "five" legs...)
Lions  (we even saw them mating!)
Rhinos  (baby rhinos are sooooo adorable - from a distance - and the adults are massive!)
Cheetahs
Leopard (in a sanctuary)
Warthogs (baby warthogs are super duper cute too)
Zebras
Giraffes (so cool to watch them gallop away because they're so tall that it looks like it's in complete slow-mo)
Hippos
Impala
Kudu
Steinbok
Water buck
Eagles
Vultures
Honey badgers
Monkeys
Jackals
Wild dogs
Hyenas,
Bush babies
And a tiny owl (one of the smallest in the world)

I don't think I could go to a zoo any longer.
Seeing wildlife in different countries has been one of the highlights of this round-the-world trip.
