Barcelona..... back to civilization. I was a little harsh on Morocco. Im sure there are fine people there, its just that theyre in the minority. Im in the worst hostel so far, it has the look and feel of a hospital, but dirty. I'm pulling out the mamma blankets. Just like with Seville, I get into Barcelona on a very busy weekend since the Formula 1 race is on Sunday (annual race). I want to go, however the cheapest seat to watch a blurs of cars pass by is 130 Euro ($170). I would only pay that much if the Lakers were in town.
Im dying to show these pictures.... Barcelona has the BEST market i've ever been too. Its art. Why we dont have these back home??? I felt like when my parents would take my uncles arriving from Cuba to visit for the first time, and my dad would take them to the supermarket to impress them! My jaw dropped at the variety and quality of food. We have 3rd world markets in the US. Whole Foods and the Fresh Market is a pathetic attempt to immitate. Watched Wolverine Origins. Some pics also of the city's main drag and some sites. Vacation tip.... dont oversleep at hostels, the next person arrives and they kick you out of the room with your stuff whether your ready or not.
