We woke up at the Arizona hot springs and it was lovely and warm, even though it was only like 6am. We set off at about 10 and we thought we were a bit pushed for time as the river seemed to be flowing backwards so it was really difficult to paddle! We stopped off at Emerald Cave which has been on the cover of many magazines, although it's not that impressive. Me and Becca were floating ahead down the river and didn't realise that when the guys were waiting for the others to catch up, a lady had a seizure and had fallen in the river unconscious and wasn't breathing. So the guys had to paddle over there and rescue her whilst her daughter resuscitated her. So then Sander and Sjoerd had to paddle her back to willow beach to be checked out by the park ranger. It was a shame they had to do that because they missed out on seeing loads more amazing sights down the river, but it was good that they were there to save a life :)
