Hello to all our freinds and family back in the UK ( and now in other parts of the world from our travels ).  We are writing from the madness and mayhem of Mumbai, a very different December for us all.  We have had such a week or two trying to complete our leg of the India ride that the blog has fallen behind.  We had the date set to meet Alan and Tricia here and spent many days battling the roads of India to reach The Gateway to India.  This evening we are setting off on an 18 hour train journey and will be doing lots of writing to get the blog in shape so watch out for a deluge of photos and tales (including the discovery of a dead body and hotel rooms fit only for prisoners).

Please keep all of your messages coming, we love hearing your news each time we log on.  Attached are a couple of photos, we will sort the other 4000 over the next 24 hours (that is if we find any space on the train, apparently there are 4 goats and a holy cow booked into our cabin along with 696 other people).

Love to you all, enjoy the Christmas build up.

Mikey and Polly

Just read what Mikey's written here and yes I can see that he has not mentioned that we are now with Mum and Dad and having an amazing time! I think it was because he had been sent out of the room because he was messing with packing control! Dont worry Jojo, Mum and dad are having a great time, mums mobile doesnt work otherwise she would have texted Christopher to let you know. Dad has had to buy new clothes as he didnt realise it was hot here and along with several jumpers and corderoy trousers he only brought one pair of pants!!  pollyxxxxxxxxxx

Phew!!! So glad you are all together - only Alan could have ignored any possibility of climate change but I'm sure he will appreciate the warm clothes in Nepal and I'm sure somewhere on that sub-continent he will find sparre knickers!!

England has ground to a halt due to the weather - Heathrow has no departure or arrivals for the whole of today so Elizabeth and George are stranded in Zermatt and have no idea when they will be able to get a flight. Charlotte and Giles have just been to pick Olaf up for the day as we are going to Betty's for lunch but we think it best that they return him tonight as they both have to work in the morning.
Have hear nothing from Amanda since Friday when they were just about to catch the ferry but assume she has reached her sking destination with the Baileys.

So looking forward to hearing your news - what dead body? and how did you all fit on the train?

Lots love Jojo and Christopher

Giles and I have just returned Olaf safely back his Grannie and Grandpa after a day with us. Lunch and supper were fun without a high chair but we all survived :-)
Met Ruth and Jaimie's daughter, Grace, for the first time on Friday - she is so cute although a little nocturnal by the sounds of things....
One more week to go before Christmas holidays begin - counting down the hours but looking forward to reading your stories in your next blog!
