Right, we have been in Bern having a very nice time.  We have spent loads of time in internet cafe getting up to date so you should now be able to read all the stories, look at all the photos and even watch a couple of movies from the first 2 weeks of our trip.  Bern is a cool place, we celebrated a one month anniversary of married life with a night out and a quality kebab (romance is not dead even on a bike camping).  We are just off to see the bears, Polly is very excited but I am a little disappointed as I thought I was allowed to cuddle them.  This afternoon we are going to ride as far as we can to Lucerne but a few 1500 meter ascents stand in our way.  Going for our first wild camp tonight in the hills so will let you know how Bear Grylls style works out.

Love to you all, we miss everyone and love your messages.  Life on a bike I can assure you, is a good life.  XXX

PS.  Happy Birthday FOOS Xxx
 and now Rais!!

Had a fabulous day in Bern in the boiling hot sunshine, being sightseers for once. Went straight to see the bears  (Look at videos!) So gorgeous, they are just in the middle of the Old City on the river bank. We saw them fighting and playing and swimming around. Stayed till 3, and then really didn't feel like getting on the bikes and starting cycling, but forced ourselves. First hour was all up hill in ridiculous heat, but after that it was amazing scenery through the mountains. Really weird being in ski resorts in the baking heat. Did 20miles to Langnau - So beautiful. I got really snap happy of Swiss houses and then another 17 to a random campsite on our route for about 7pm. So happy to get a text saying Sid and Muneera's son is here! We've just looked at some photos and he is gorgeous. Mikey smoked the cigar Sid gave us under a full moon over the mountain. Sad we didn't get to meet him, but so glad he's here and so cute. Used the trangia to cook for a change, pasta again - getting a bit bored of it!
