Amazing to wake up in the hotel, with nothing to do all day! Had breakfast in bed then went out for a wander leaving 10 bags and the bikes with the hotel. Mikey was too embarrassed to leave our stinky cycling shoes so had to carry them around all day. We went to the tourist office and she gave us excellent maps of the entire country with cycle routes, loads of campsites. We then spent two hours in an internet cafe trying to catch up with the blog. It takes AGES so we are thinking about getting some kind of notebook to type each day so that we can just cut and paste. As it was our day off, 1pm we went and got another picnic from our new favourite Swiss supermarket, Manon, where they sell all amazing foods. Ate by the lake then lazed around reading the papers until the afternoon when we picked up all of our gear and headed to a bike shop in town as the clip attaching Mikey's pannier had snapped. The bike shop was a mad place, full of spare parts, and completely over run with people dropping off their bikes. Only 2 guys worked there, and they gave us the part and 2 spares for free - think they just wanted us to go away! Cycled out of town along the lakeside to Tannay, near Coppet where Sid and Muneera live. The campsite was right on the lake and it felt like luxury to read a book by the water after pitching the tent as I have bought one after not having any for 2 weeks.
