HELLO! Im on the SOuth Island now!

ok so i have very little time for because the internet is too expensive here.

so the past couple nights i stayed in the town of Nelson. It was right near the Abel Tasman National Park. On Saturday i went kayaking on the abel tasman! GEORGEOUS!!!!!! it was so much fun!!! and i promise that when i find cheap internet and a usb connection ill put up pictures!!!!! ive been trying really hard but its difficult to find time to go into town for these things.

Then Sunday we went for a 4 hour hike on the Abel Tasman. once again GEORGEOUS!!!! WE had lunch and fell asleep on the beach! ive never seen such blue waters and warm waters in my life! and it was the sea!! not a lake!!

Ya, i dont remember if i had posted anything in WEllington. I stayed there two nigths (thats still on the north island) before Nelson. I LOVE THAT CITY!!!!!! me and ester went shopping and it was SOOOOO nice there i could live there! And that night me and all the people id been hanging out with from the bus were splitting up the next morning so we all went out and had SOOOO much fun!!! we basically did a walking pub crawl of the pub-ish area of wellington. it was a great time.

ANYWAY! so after Nelson and the abel Tasman we left today and i just arrived in Greymouth. This morning on the bus our bus driver asks: "Nobody's planning on staying in greymouth more than one night are they???" of course i was because i hadnt really looked into it. He was then like : "Ok you need to come talk to me". Hahaha. he ended up convincing me and lets just say: ive only been here an hour and IM SO GLAD HE CONVINCED ME!!!!

We got into our hostel and first of all it looks like the house from the alfred hitchcock movie "PSYCHO"!!!! u know the one where the woman gets murdered in the shower with the "WREE WREE WREE" music in the background? yah. thats the one.

There was no front desk. Two older women upstairs who helped us out. and i think ive only seen 4 people staying here all togehter. THANK GOD im not here for 2 nights. i would have lost my friends im travelling with and would have NOT met any others here!!!

OK! so tomorrow im leaving for Franz Joseph, its a town right by a glacier and then im doing a half day hike on the glacier. the next day after that IM SLEEPING IN! and thats when im gonna find an internet cafe and put up pictures I SWEAR!!
