This morning Diane and I took Sadie to the poodle parlor at Petsmart. While we were waiting we ran a few errands to Meijer (Looked like a very big Walmart). After Diane picked up the couple of things she needed we stopped and looked at some ladies blouses that were on sale.  I got one blouse and Diane bought a few more.  Then we headed over to Barnes and Noble to kill more time and we both picked up a few books.  By the time we were standing in line to pay for our books at the register Petsmart called to let us know Sadie was ready.  So after our purchases we headed back to pick up the little lady, Sadie.

Getting back home I gave Dave the book I picked up for him.  It was about ghosts and airplanes.   Diane and I grab a few leftovers from the fridge and had a light lunch.  I ran up stairs to get my jewelry kit to fix a bracelet of mine and watched a little TV.

When Dee got off work she came over for a last visit with us before we leave on Sunday (maybe).  Tomorrow we are all going to a 1st birthday party for one of Diane and Ken's grand children, Emily.  Dee was going to be there too, but wanted to have a more intimate last visit with us.  I gave her the necklace I made yesterday and she was thrilled.  She said that she had a red dress that the necklace would go with perfectly.  In fact she had been looking for a necklace to go with the dress and could not find one.  This one was perfect.  I was very happy that I was able to make this for her, and it was a perfect fit.

Kenny came home from work and Diane put him to work BBQing a couple of steaks and lamb chops.  She finished the meal off with Rice, Green beans and rolls.  We sat out on the back patio and enjoyed dinner and a few drinks.  We toasted to a fabulous visit and Kenny offered for us to stay longer, I told him at the first snowflake, we're out of here.  After having lost contact after all these years that we were so comfortable with each other.  Dave and Ken became instant buddies; the two of them were like the 3 Stooges, except they didn’t need the 3rd stooge.  The two of them more than made up for the missing 3rd stooge.

The hospitality we have been extended here is beyond description.  So as I always close my daily blog, May God bless these wonderful relatives and all my reading friends.  Good night.
