Today we didn't have anything planned so after breakfast I decided to make a couple of necklaces with matching earrings for Diane and Dee to show my appreciation for their hospitality they have extended to us during our stay. I went to Michael's and bought a few items I needed to complete the two necklaces. Getting back home I laid everything out and started making the red necklace set. Then I completed the purple necklace set just in time to for Diane to get home.  I let her choose the one she liked, and she choose the purple.  Tomorrow I will be giving Dee her red necklace set.

After Diane got changed from work clothes and refreshed we went out to dinner.  My big spender cousin Ken's had a BIG Surprise for this evening's dinner.  He treated us BIG TIME to White Castle burgers.  For anyone who has not had a White Castle burger, they are little burgers (the original sliders)  on small buns.  They have 5 little holes in them so the fry cook doesn't even have to flip them.  They will rehydrate, dehydrated onions and put them on the bun with their special mustard sauce.  I had about 3 burgers and Dave had about 6 of these little gems.  They taste ok, but I’m told the BBQ pork sliders are much better.

After dinner we went to an Ice cream parlor for desert.   We all indulged in sundaes.  Came home and we all watched some TV.

That was my exciting day.  But I really enjoyed working on a craft.  God bless everyone who eats a White Castle burger and survives through the next day.  And God bless all people who love arts and crafts of any kind.  But most of all bless all my friends.

I have eaten White Castel hamburgers in upstate New York when I lived there many years ago. I actually thought that was the only place you could get them. I like the necklaces you made Patty. Such a great house guest you are so talented. Blessings, Bonnie
