Tysons Corner Center is the largest shopping mall in the Washington, D.C. area and is the fifth largest mall in the United States.
Major stores like Bloomingdale's, Macy’s, Nordstrom and of course the DISNEY STORE and the presence of more than 300 specialty retailers allows Tysons Corner Center to live up to its reputation of being "Where the Stores Are." In 2005, Tysons introduced a 362,000-square-foot expansion hosting a 16-screen, AMC megaplex with stadium seating, five fine-dining and family-style restaurants, a Food Court, two-level Barnes & Noble, and more than 20 new specialty stores. The wing is adjoined by a new, 1,650-space parking deck with speed ramp to the area’s entertainment level, bringing the property’s total capacity to more than 10,500 parking spaces.
Upon are arrival we headed for the food court on the 3rd level for lunch. Then off to shopping. First stop was Crabtree and Evelyn so I could pick up some of my favorite perfume: Evelyn Rose. Then we hit the Disney Store, boy were we disappointed! It was a small store with a limited inventory. However, Evie was able to find a couple of items to tickle her fancy, a couple of night gowns, a toy camera (that she snapped at everything and everywhere) and a small Cinderella coach. We stopped and looked into the Lego store, if you need a Lego this is where to go. Oh yes, we went to the bling store too, Clair’s for a few hair do-dads. I was also able to get a manicure and pedicure taken care of too. After browsing a few other stores we headed for home.
When Chris got home from work we decided to run over to the Silver Diner for dinner. Dinner was just as good as out breakfasts where.
Home, shower and too bed….Good night and God bless all the shoppers and sales clerks we encountered today. I also pray that he will bless all my wonderful friends who are praying for a safe journey filled with excitement for us.

Shopping with Eve sounds like fun, I havn't had a little girl to shop with in 24 years. Oldest grandchild Taryn turned 24 this month. She still likes to shop but right now she is shopping for cars. I am glad you are getting to enjoy your little princess.
Just got back from Sonora and Chico so catching up on your blog. Evie is so cute and I can see you are enjoying sightseeing with her and shopping of course.
