Off to Walmart, I needed to get some accessories to fix a necklace and bracelet for Adrienne. Adrienne and John drove us all around the area for a bit of sightseeing. We were amazed at how green everything was.
When we got back to the house I finished working on the necklace and bracelet for Adrienne and she started painting a bisque horse and sleigh that I gave her
. The guys kicked back and watched some Television. We just enjoyed each other company until about 4p.m. We had to get ready for dinner with John's folks for a father’s day celebration. We all met at Broadway Pizza in downtown Poinciana for dinner. Good Pizza and great company and our server Jason did a marvelous job of keeping all of us filled with our drinks and he even got our orders straight. There must have been 12-15 of us at the dinner so getting the orders correct is quite a feat. Afterwards we all went to the White House (I was hoping I could say that one day!) John’s last name is White. So Dave and I had a great opportunity to really get to know John and his family. Adrienne is a real lucky lady to have these folks in her life, these were wonderful down to earth people. The teenagers were polite, everyone joked and laughed and everyone knew how to have a fun time. John’s Mom likes sunflowers, they were everywhere in every room as planters, picture frames, pictures you name it she had it with sunflowers on it. What a lovely house. The front yard was like a tropical forest. The flowers and plants were beautiful. I just loved the place.
Having just started our 3rd week of vacation all I can say is so far we have not had a bad day, just a scary night of rain on our arrival into Florida. God is blessing us and taking care of us well. It’s about 10:30p.m., I’m getting tired so I’m off to bed…Goodnight!
God Bless the whole White Family and take care of them. I am thankful for these people becoming a part of my daughter’s life. Bless Jason for being a great waiter and getting our orders perfect the first time.
Today started around 8a.m. with breakfast at Woodside Café. The hash browns were especially good, and plenty of everything to go with it. After Breakfast we went over to see the house that John and Adrienne will be renting, what a nice 3 bedroom house with very large garage/barn. They will be moving their horse, Zippy to the new place too. We also had an opportunity to meet their new landlady, Laurie, what a nice person. She and her husband are making major improvements to the property to make it nice for them. I didn't have my camera today for pictures, but will post some later this month.
