After last night's adventure we slept late until 9am this morning it felt good to sleep late, got up and went to breakfast and stopped a the local Wal-Mart to pick up a few things for dinner including some more Blue Bell Ice cream. Thought it would be nice to have dinner waiting for John when he comes home from work.
We brought our stuff into the house since we will be staying here for a couple of weeks.  Including a recliner chair we bought for Evie.

I left at 2pm to pick up Adrienne from work so I could see where she worked and meet her coworkers.  I left a little earlier than planned, it looked like it might rain and I wanted to get a jump on the weather.  No luck, the moment I started the car the rain drops joined me.  I think there is a black cloud over head with my name on it.  Fortunately after picking up Adrienne she took over the driving (You guessed it, the rain stopped.)

On the way back to the house we stopped by the stables to see her horse Zippy.  She needed to brush him; he looked like he may have rolled over in the dirt after the rain.  Got back to the house and sat around and waited for John to get home so we could eat dinner.  I made stewed Italian sausage with bell peppers, onions and stewed tomatoes.  John really enjoyed the dinner, and there was enough left over for lunches the next day.

After dinner we ran out to Old Town (in Kissimmee). We walk around and looked at some of the classic Cars that were there.  Like most tourist there were many tourist trap shops to look through.  it was a nice evening, a bit on the humid side but not unbearably hot.  After returning home around 11pm we sat watched TV for a bit then we all turned in for the night.

Located approximately 10 miles to the south of Kissimmee, Poinciana is a master planned community set on approximately 47,000 acres in the north east corner of Osceola county, Florida. Close to the world’s largest theme parks and thriving tourist industry Poinciana is also far enough away for its residents to relax in peaceful surroundings.

In 2000 the Census placed the population at 13,647 but the continued development of residential and some vacation resort communities has seen the area grow rapidly over the last five years. However, as a planned community Poinciana continues to retain much of its natural beauty as conservation areas make-up over forty percent of the town's 47,000 acres.

The nearby Walt Disney Wilderness Preserve contains over 10,000 more acres of pristine natural beauty and water sports abound in Poinciana, with canoeing, kayaking, fishing and boating.

Kissimmee the heart of Florida in Osceola County is a charming, distinctive area that’s part of one of the world’s most popular vacation destinations and just south of Orlando.  Kissimmee will make you feel right at home with its warm, welcoming hospitality.

Downtown Kissimmee's historic district has a thriving Main Street program that organizes fun special events throughout the year. From self-guided walking tours to unique locally-owned restaurants and shops, downtown Kissimmee is committed to preserving the city's historic structures and to being the premier arts and culture center of the county.

God bless all the wonderful folks we encountered today and John and Adrienne for showing us around this great place.  Also bless all the friends who have been reading our blog.

Love the aquarium pictures and wow Adrienne's horse Zip won a lot of first place ribbons. I got your card yesterday. The enjoyment of your visit was worth a Million bucks to me. Thank you for your thoughtful card.

Hard to believe from here that you have already crossed the vastness of this country already. I am sure it feels that way however. The pictures are great and we are loving seeing the country through your eyes. Things here are going well. Busy as always and still working hard but it keeps me on my toes. Stay well and God bless.
