Yes, it has rained! And not only that, I've also been cold for the first time; so much so that I had to pull the blanket over me during the night. The reason for this is that we have traveled up into the mountains to a hill station in the Western Ghats. It's about 25 degrees at the hottest during the day, which is truly heavenly!
As you can see from the map we've had a bit of a hardcore few days getting here, going from Goa to Mangalore, to Mysore and then up here in 4 days. We did give ourselves a treat, however, by getting an ambassador up through the mountains for the last part of the journey. This took us through a couple of national parks and then up some rather dodgy roads. The choice was relatively easy though, as it was this or sitting on a public bus for 6 hours next to some smelly man, spitting out of the window (and no I don't mean Julia).
Nothing particularly interesting has happened in all these places, I've mainly just been doing lots of sight seeing. The final few days in Goa were cool as I met a load of westerners to get pissed with. It was quite a mix too including a Norwegian, a Dane, two Swedish girls (unfortunately not your stereotypical ones), a German, a Yank and a couple of lads from London.
I also bought a hammock. Awesome.

Where's all the news??
I thought you were going to write at least one entry every week bro. This is pretty lame! I know you must be 'chilling out' and eating curry until you burst, but it doesn't mean you can't get to a computer... ;)
