The title is from a sign that we saw in the little restaurant across the street from the Comfort Inn that we are staying in tonight. We are at exit 7 in Western Oklahoma and there just isn't much here at all. We did have a good dinner at The Rafter T restaurant. They serve fried okra with the meal if you don't want potatoes and I LOVE fried okra.
For lunch today we were in Carrie Underwood's home town. It is at US highway 69 and I 40 the town is Checotah, OK and we ate at Charlie's Chicken. Ryan Pratt served us and he was very friendly. The chicken there is some of the best I have ever tasted and the beans are awesome with just the right amount of smoke flavor. Their rolls are just like the homemade ones that Mom makes.
The rest of our day was not too eventful so that is why we are talking about the food today. I have to say it was a day of really great food and a quite a few miles of highway.
Today we rode 626 miles.
