Today was an amazing day.  If you don't believe that the scripture, "The prayers of a righteous man availeth much", you just needed to be with us today.  We woke up this morning to weather forecast of rain for all of our route.  When we left the hotel, it was not raining but there were very dark clouds to the north.  As we got on the road you could see a lot of showers in all directions.  We had our rain gear ready but decided to head out without it.  We arrived in Bismarck, North Dakota over 650 miles east without hitting any rain worthy of rain gear.  We got a few drips twice  but nothing to speak of.  Barb (she's the righteous one by the way) was praying for a "tunnel" of good weather to ride in and we got it all day.

It was cool and quite windy out of the north so we kept our leather's on all day.  The roads were generally good, dry and the scenery continued to be beautiful.  We saw the Badlands of North Dakota (picture attached) which are very colorful and just wonderful rolling prairie.

It was not a terribly eventful day but we are still having a lot of fun.  We road hard today and were tired by the time we got to our hotel.  The winds made us work for our miles in the last 1/2 of the day.  We really like Montana and will plan to go back and spend more time later.

Our ride today was 659 miles and we have now traveled 3339 miles since we left Las Vegas.  Tomorrow we will have a relatively short day into the Minneapolis area to stay with Barb's brother Brian and his family.  I'll do an update from there.

Blessings to you all!

Paul
