Budapest is a beautiful city and has a lot of attractions.
The first day we arrived the biggest problem was that we didn't have a map of the city. This time we didn't stay at a hostel but here. The cost was 70 EUR per night.
Finding the place was a bit difficult, but somehow we managed. We took a shower once we got home and then went out and that's when it happened.
Leo and I were at this outdoor restaurant drinking beer and watching the England vs. Sweden game when Leo goes, "Hey, I think that's my anthropology teacher right there." Funny thing is, that the anthropology teacher is the only college teacher that he mentioned earlier during the trip. A minute or two later Leo gets a better look at him and says, "Yup, that's him." and then the guy gets up with his wife ready to leave and Leo says, "Hi, Mr. Baker!" It was him.
Now get this. They're both from California and they meet at the same place, at the same time, in the same city, and in the same country! Talk about coincidence.
The next morning we went out shopping and in the evening we took a bus tour of Budapest and then saw that we missed a lot. If you're planning on visiting Budapest, I suggest that you plan it out very well. Three days should be enough, but plan it out well. For us the whole trip was a bit hectic and fast-paced and we wanted to do and see so many things but we simply didn't have time. Enjoy the pictures.
