Well this will probably also end up being a short post as we are sitting outside the tourist information centre again, using their wifi.

Yesterday we had a pretty good day just wondering around Perth and discovering King's Park, central Perth shopping area and just getting used to the place.

Today, we got the train to Fremantle which is on the coast and got a ferry across to Rottness island. We had forgotten what time the ferry was booked for so had to rush a little bit but actually got there with a good 15 minutes to spare as the ferry left late for latecomers, how ironic. At least we were there early haha.

On the island, we had already pre-booked to rent bikes so picked them up and had a cycle around. Annoyingly, we hadn't thought about taking swimming stuff or a towel so couldn't swim in the beautiful crystal clear water. But we did paddle in it and lay on the beach for a bit before cycling on. I had attached a few photos so you can be jealous of our sun, sea and blue sky. It was such a lovely place! We were meant to stay there till 7:30 which is when we had booked to get the ferry back but we felt we had seen enough so instead got the 4:40 ferry back. The journey was ridiculously bumpy, only because the boat was going so far. They even handed out sea sick bags in case anyone was going to throw up!

After we got back to Fremantle, we wondered around the town a bit and then got an ice cream before getting the train back to Perth. And thus, we are now back at the Tourist information centre!

Tomorrow is Australia Day! So we are going to see what's going on in the area and definitely will check our the fireworks display in the evening.

Well that's all for now folks. Enjoy the photos and speak soon,
