So continuing on from what Jennie wrote, we also went to see an animal show where a Seal performed some pretty impressive tricks. At the end, people were allowed to go up and have their photo taken with the seal. I couldn't resist the opportunity so Jennie took a photo of me with the seal and I even got a kiss on the cheek from it. Photo will be posted on our return!
Also, I discovered a few somewhat interesting things. Firstly, KFC in Singapore doesn't provide chips with any of their meals... instead it's mashed potato in a little pot with what I assume was gravy on top. Very strange. I also tried this root beer drink with it and it tasted a lot like watered down mouthwash.
And finally, before we went to the Zoo we were both very thirsty and so grabbed a drink at the bus station and I spotted a Sugar Cane drink so decided to give it a go. It was very sweet, slightly caramel-y and quite unusual to any drink I've had before. Two weird drinks in one day -crazy!
Well, that's my little add-on to Jennie's post about the zoo and safari. I'm just lying in bed, struggling to sleep at 7:09am... but today we fly to Perth! Very exciting =]
So this is Goodbye Singapore - the first leg of our trip.
