We woke up to a sunny morning and warm weather below the Zugspitze considering most of the people in the town were going skiing. We saw 2 people from Norway on the Olympic ski team at breakfast and we hoped they were famous!

We walked to the 1936 Winter Olympic Games stadium to see the Ice arena and the ski jumping area it was really cool. Then we drove around the mountains to avoid one hairpin turn for dad in order to get to Oberammergau. The town has so many different wood carving stores and is built all around the Passion Play. There is a huge theater in the center of town and apparently the entire population gets involved, the men even grow out their beards for a year to get ready.

Mom and dad spent forever in a store to buy gifts for relatives so Peter and I went outside and had a photo shoot, it was fun! Then we left and headed back to Murnau for dinner. It was at a very quiet microbrewery restaurant. I had to do a lot of translating but the food was excellent and the staff was as always very kind. We finally made it to our hotel in Munich and we were all tired.
