Spent today walking around Port Washington and enjoying more of this wonderful sunshine. There are more photos on Flickr - believe me, you are only getting the highly edited highlights.

It's a nice quiet town with all the usual facilities. We had lunch at the Port Washington Diner which was good - although their version of Gouda Cheese lost something in translation!

After lunch Ruth Ann took me out to Sands Point Preserve - a local park and country home - a former residence of the Guggenheims. Very nice walks along the coast with views to Connecticut.
