After being in India we flew to Helsinki, Finland. I went there because Uncle Phil was marrying Aunty Sarita (Aunty Chi Chi) and I was going to be the flower girl. Before the wedding we looked aroung Helsinki and its many tourist sites. Helsinki is a great place to sit back and enjoy the ride. It is a very pretty city, especially all the parks they have everywhere.

I went on the metro for the first time since I was a really little baby (I don't remember the rides in England 10 years ago). The Metro is where you go a long way down underground to catch a train. You go down a very long esculator to get to the train platforms. It is really good fun for the first time.

When we were in Finland we caught a massive ferry to Tallinn which is in Estonia. We went with our family from Australia. We went there so Uncle Phil and Aunty Chi Chi could get all the grog (drinks) for the wedding because it is so cheap over there. In Tallinn we went to the old walled city. I walked around with my Granny and Grandpa for the day. We went into an underground resturant to have lunch. It was 1300 years old, but the food was very fresh and nice. We looked around the old city and climbed the fortress walls. They were really, really steep and hard to get to. On the way to catch the ferry it rained on us and we got all wet. Mum's phone and Alex's DS got destroyed so we have had to buy new ones. On the way back to the ferry to go home to Helsinki Granny, Grandpa and I caught a horse and cart.

The wedding was on an estate in Espoo. The house was built in 1522 and it was very beautiful. I was the flower girl and wore my dress that was made in Thailand. It matched the bridesmaids dresses but was a little bit darker. We stayed up until 1.30am and we were very tired. We had special kiddie champagne to drink. The wedding was said in two languages - Finnish and English. It made it go for a long time. Sarita was very pretty and Uncle Phil was almost wetting his pants because he was very nervous. It was a very lovely day.

After the wedding we went and stayed in a cottage in Hameenlinna right on a lake with all the family from Australia. We went canoeing and fishing and used the sauna. A sauna is where you go into a boiling hot room and you put water on the fire to make steam. The steam is very hot but it gets you all clean. After about 20 minutes you run straight out of the boiling hot sauna and jump into the freezing lake. I did it about 3 times. I was great fun.

At the cottage we all had to share one room and we could hear everyone snooring and talking and farting. We called it the hall of truth. I know way too much about my Aunties and Uncles now.

We think we are going to go back to Finnland for Christmas in 2013 to go skiing and have a sauna where you get to jump into the lake through a hole in the ice.
