Monday morning i took the ferry from Fishguard to Rosslare in Ireland. From there hope on a bus to Dublin.Arriving in Dublin it looked very similar to Christchurch. Soon found my way around and walked the hostel where i would be spending my next two nights. Feeling “absolutely starving” (a common Irish phrase I'm told) i head out in search of a big feed and a pint of Ginuess or two.
The next day i jump on one of the open top tour buses that travel the city making stops at all the popular attractions and giving commentary along the way. 1st stop the Guinness factory!! a lot more interesting than i thought especially the section on the transportation of Guinness. A phrase that will stick in my mind from this section is “A lesson in the transportation of Guinness is a lesson in transport” Basically Guinness was one of the most widely transported product of its time. Before i know it the day has disappeared so i head back to the hostel for an early night to catch my AM bus to Galway
