afternoon all englishmen and women, i have some good news for you all Phillipa has passed her Padi open water diving course with flying colours so now will be able to venture to the bottom of the ocean whenever she wants and wherever she wants, leaving me floating on the top snorkelling and bumping into seaweed! christine- i hear you will also be glad to know this qualifies for her Duke of Edingburgh as well so she has now got her Gold and may even be able to shake hands with the Queen or Duke! we were on Beachcomber island for 4 nights whislts Phil did this course, this is known as the party island so Phil couldn't enjoy the nights as much as i and our friends could but had a lot more productive days as i slept and sunbathed for 90% of them! after leaving beachcomber and many of our friends we arrived back at
Nadi bay hotel where we spent the night and had some well deserved rest and time off drinking after our hectic stay on the islands! (poor us.) on my birthday we received some money through off mum and dad to stay in a lovely hotel and have a nice meal
! this was an amazing night and two days with a few drinks, good food and a television in our room which i stayed up watching England vs India until 6 in the morning on! (unbelievable game wasn't it Dad and James?) by the way this is getting briefer and briefer because i have less than 2 minutes on the internet left and dont want to pay for more! after this we were back to reality and back to
Nadi Bay hotel where we have two more nights of sunning and chilling before heading off to Sydney for two weeks on the 3rd which we are both unbelievably excited for! and will be blogging a lot as we got a free internet pass anywhere in Aus! great result!

lovely to hear from you both. Glad you enjoyed the luxury night in the hotel - it looks fab and I hope that you took advantage of the Turtle Children's Club?! Really starting to miss you now (it was just like you had been at Blake and then away partying at weekends before) but so glad you are having such a good time. All good here. Jane's old kitchen is now recycled in our house and looks fab. I have joined bootcamp at fat club (first night tonight and I can't move) so that I can try reach the target you've set me for when you see me next!!! Jim started 1st cricket net in preparation for his tour to 'Buckinghamshire' (it's hardly Oz!!) at Easter. Brilliant pics - keep them coming.
