Lucky us we were invited to stay with our friends Mel and Dom in Turkish Cyprus. Nearby is a 14th century harbour Fumagusta, ancient Roman ruins at Salamis, beaches and arid hills with numerous historical sites. It was hot, sunny and we had a great tour guide in Dom who showed us round. It was also lots of fun hanging out at the Sanders beautiful house and in their lovely big pool.
