Kas via Fethiye and a gulet to Demre

Take a bus to Fethiye - it's the place to start your gulet trip around the coast (we didn't even book in advance - lots of specials on offer). They advertise it as Fethiye to Olympus - but in fact the boat journey ends near Demre (that's were you'll find a chapel with Santa Claus statue). Take a local bus heading back to Kas (30 minutes) - a real highlight. Small, quaint, relaxing, good food, a little night life, boat excursions to the sunken city, dolmus to the canyon and spectacular coastal drive. You need at least a week here - and you won't be sorry.
