Canberra to Kiama via Goulburn. We stopped at Goulburn to see the Big Merino. While we were there we purchased MacArthur our Merino Ram pictured on the front of this blog. We also got a book of all the big things in Australia and decided this was going to be part of our trip - to see how many big things we could see from the book along the way and if they had a stuffed big thing then we would have to have it for our collection. We saw the big Potato at Robertson.
Goulburn can be very cold and on this morning it was freezing, however when we got to Kiama it was lovely and warm. It is a very pretty town. While in Kiama we caught up with family.
If you are in Kiama go and visit the Pilot's house as this is a museum with the history of Kiama - the quarries, the tree lopping, the dairies, the shipping and the people. Well worth a visit.
