Yet another morning that started with sunrise. As the jeep for the morning game drive inside Chobe National Park was to start at six it meant yet another short night (but then again we're usually all in bed by 11 anyway as doing nothing can be very exhausting...)
But what better start to a day could there be than starting it by sighting a leopard? From approx 40m distance it emerged that the big tree branch was indeed alive and purring, probably enjoying the presence of about 7 jeeps fighting for the best viewing spots for its spots.
Later crocs (admittedly not very scary at about 120cm only), herds of impalas, many hippos (bit shy in front of the camera, no great shots yet), warthogs, lions and countless birds were to be gazed at. Very nice and in a scenery that was much more diverse than that of Etosha's wide open savannah. And now it's off to the evening boat game ride.
more later, i hope I'll find some fast internet in Vic Falls tomorrow for uploading some pics, too.
